Sabrina (Bree) left us to ride west to a new life. She met her fate on a highway riding her harley. She left a legacy in us, and this chapter. We can always be thankful to our sister, her dream, and her love of riding.
In the first years of the life of this chapter, we have participated in many events. We've appeared on MTV in New York City, walked miles for the March of Dimes, collected donations for Make-A-Wish and other charities. We've sent monthly donations to help crack-addicted babies, fund cancer research, support veterans, and so many others that we feel are important.
In February of 2004, we sponsored a very successful fundraiser for our dear friend, Jenny Lee, who was severely ill with juvenile diabetes...may she rest in peace. We're a small group of women with big hearts. If there is someone we know, or hear of, that is in need, we try to lend our support any way we can.
We like to make a difference, and that's the point...making a difference. We've contributed to the lives of others who needed a little help, and we've enjoyed the friendship of other women who share the desire to ride. We've hosted and attended many biker functions and met so many diverse riders, all with varied interests and reasons for riding; but the common thread through all the people we've met, is the love of freedom and the sensation of feeling the wind in our faces.
The biggest difference is in the way we feel as a group of women who love to ride motorcycles. The wind in our hair, elements in our lives that make us able to stand proud. We've always been a small chapter; but quality, not quantity, makes us feel larger than life. That's what counts. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
